Bermudan Company to build Headquarters on Long Wharf, Irvingville

Irving Oil's proposed new headquarters is no small endeavour. Designed by world-leading architect Robert A.M. Stern, if completed it could be the most significant building constructed in our region in more than a century.

With them owning every MLA in government, I guess that particular threat seems more like a charade with every passing year.

Still, those empty threats gave NB's kleptocrats their excuse to hand out loans, grants and free boilers at public expense. Now that this wharf takeover is complete, I wonder what the taxpayers of New Brunswick are going to end up spending and what the warped rationale will be?
